Hi, I'm Ally Tolly and I've been painting and drawing for over ten years. I began my art journey in middle school and went on to earn my associate's degree in visual arts. I really enjoy working with a colorful haze in my pieces, bringing atmosphere and mood to each composition. Louisiana is where I first discovered my love for art during middle and high school, and later I moved to Oklahoma to be closer to my dad and to further refine my style, focusing on capturing fleeting moments in time.
About the artist
Behind the name
I first found a Facebook post from the shelter with a bunch of kittens needing a home. One really caught my eye and she had a cute little heart nose. I just knew she needed to be in my life and the shelter had named her Violet.
Right away she made herself at home and now has a little brother that we snatched from the streets. They both spend their days cuddling or causing trouble.
